Chocolate Mud Cake

Here is a recipe for a rich and delicious chocolate mud cake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and mixing until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
